KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Abdul Hamid Mohamad, Tan Sri Ahmad Sarji Abdul Hamid and Gerakan national adviser Datuk Seri Dr Lim Keng Yaik will be conferred the Seri Setia Mahkota Malaysia (SSM) award today, which carries the title "Tun".

National squash player Nicol Ann David conferred the Darjah Bakti award


They head Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin's birthday honours list of 1,862.
Abdul Hamid, 66, is the Chief Justice while Ahmad Sarji, 70, was a former chief secretary to the government and Dr Lim, 69, is Gerakan national adviser.


Wanita Umno chief and former international trade and industry minister Datuk Seri Rafidah Aziz, 65, is the sole recipient of the Panglima Mangku Negara award, which carries the title Tan Sri while national squash player, 25- year-old Nicol Ann David, will be conferred the Darjah Bakti (DB) award.


Thirty others will be conferred the Panglima Setia Mahkota (PSM), which also carries the title "Tan Sri".


They include Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Senator Datuk Amirsham A. Aziz, Prime Minister's Department economic planning unit director-general Datuk Seri Dr Sulaiman Mahbob, Deputy Inspector-general of Police Datuk Ismail Omar, Khazanah Nasional Bhd chief executive officer Datuk Azman Mokhtar, BN Kelantan chairman Datuk Seri Annuar Musa, MCA deputy president Datuk Seri Chan Kong Choy, Suhakam commissioner Prof Datuk Dr Khoo Kay Kim, People's Progressive Party financial adviser Datuk Chua Ma Yu and Roman Catholic archbishop Datuk Murphy Nicholas Xavier Pakiam.


Among corporate figures conferred the PSM include New Straits Times Press chairman Datuk Seri Mohamed Jawhar Hassan, Lejadi Holdings president and chief executive officer Datuk Dr Lim Ewe Jin, RAM Holdings executive deputy chairman Datuk C. Rajandram, Public Bank managing director and chief executive officer Datuk Seri Tay Ah Lek, Malaysia Airlines chairman Datuk Dr Mohd Munir Abdul Majid, Tradewinds Corp chairman Datuk Seri Megat Najmuddin Megat Khas and Tenggara Oil Bhd chairman Datuk Dr Kamal Mat Salih.


The prime minister's principal private secretary Datuk Mohamed Thajudeen Abdul Wahab is among 51 others awarded the Panglima Jasa Negara (PJN), which carries the title "Datuk". They include New Straits Times Press deputy chairman Datuk Seri Kalimullah Hassan, New Straits Times Press group editor-in-chief Datuk Hishamuddin Aun and Boh Plantations Sdn Bhd chairman Tristan Beauchamp Russell, Anti-Corruption Agency director-general Datuk Seri Ahmad Said Hamdan, National Heart Institute chief executive officer Mohd Radzif Mohd Yunus, HELP executive director and president Dr Paul Chan Tuck Hoong, Pemudah chief operating officer M.R. Gopala Krishnan, Suhakam commissioner Prof Dr Chiam Heng Keng, Armed Forces field commander Lt-Gen Datuk Zulkifeli Mohd Zin, Sarawak People's Party deputy president Abit Joo @ Billy Abit Joo, Johor Baru MCA branch chairman Freddie Long Hoo Hin and senator Datuk Musa Sheikh Fadzir.


Meanwhile, Datuk Awang Kechik Abdul Rahman and Major-Gen Datuk Abdul Aziz Ibrahim are the two recipients of the Panglima Setia Di Raja (PSD) award, which also carries the title "Datuk".


Twenty one others are conferred the Johan Mangku Negara (JMN), 91 the Johan Setia Mahkota (JSM), one the Johan Setia Diraja (JSD), 306 the Kesatria Mangku Negara (KMN), nine the Kesatria Setia di-Raja (KSD), 559 the Ahli Mangku Negara (AMN), 764 the Pingat Pangkuan Negara (PPN) and 23 the Bentara Setia di-Raja (BSD).
